£57,000 Grant for Pastors during this COVID19 Crisis

On May 11, 2020, GFI handed over a one-time gift of K276,000 to Pentecostal Assembles of God (PAOG), to be distributed to 600 pastors across Zambia in need of financial support during the COVID19 crisis.

The gift to PAOG is part of a series of support to be availed in six countries in Sub-Saharan Africa in the coming days. It was made possible through a grant from the Barnabas Fund, UK, for COVID19 emergency stipend support to pastors in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Namibia, Malawi and Rwanda at a rate of £20 each.

The total number of pastors benefiting from this grant (£57,000) are 2,850. Through partner churches and organisations, GFI will be distributing it to 1,000 pastors in Zimbabwe, 600 in Zambia and Malawi (each), 350 in Angola, and 150 pastors in Rwanda and Namibia (each).

We hope and trust that this little gift will go a long way to let each Pastor and their families know they are not alone, as they face some of the most difficult moments of their lives, in the service of the Lord Jesus.
